Thank guys, there is no question in mind that the ecu is throwing a code, the car failed emmisions terribly. I kind of suspected the previous owner either pulled the bulb or fuse. I just figured...

Well I just got around to bleeding the brakes, and it did not help. Same spongy pedal with very weak stopping power. Im starting to think its the master cylinder, anyway to check it, or diagnose?

There was a debate here about 1st gear vtec also, I beleive MPH is a factor also, could be wrong.

edit: are you sure you got a c1 in there, did you just purchase the car?

I had ground control with koni yellows, they work pretty well, but I like the skunk2 coilovers more now. Seem to handle better.
