Re: Product list inquiry: What components are needed to run E85 pump fuel?

Hi my B&R Fittings account has been deleted so I'm on my old personal account.

At the very minimum I would go with the walbro 450lph (F90000274)
You can keep the stock fuel filter if you would...

Re: BoostedHatchFreaks-96 Hatch Build

If you have it hooked up to a relay and its seeing 13.5v then 600+ won't be a problem. Which Walbro 450 do you have? The 267 or 274 (last three numbers)? The 274 is the high pressure one and the...

Re: BoostedHatchFreaks-96 Hatch Build

12 gauge wire from the relay to the battery or alternator.

The limiting factor will be the walbro 450/525 pump not the size of the -8 line. The Walbro 525lph will get you into the 700+ whp range...

Re: BoostedHatchFreaks-96 Hatch Build

Here's a general rule of thumb that we use for our customers.

E85 fuel with Walbro 450/525lph in tank fuel pump. -8 feed/-6 return
Gasoline (No-meth/ethanol based fuel)255/340lph in tank pump....

Re: Turbo oil feed location. Can I use the VTEC solenoid location?

Here's a quick reference for acura/honda motors. Always make sure to check oil pressure on your particular motor. Also never use the vtec solenoid location to feed the turbo. It does not give a...

Re: Southbay Fuel Injectors? Product feedback inquiry

We've sold them for the last 5 years. They work great as advertised. Plus Julie & Frank are great people to deal with, the custom service is outstanding.

re: The threads stripped on the CHRA's oil feed - What does one do?

Just get a 2 bolt oil feed flange. You oil inlet looks like a 1/8"npt, just get a flange that has a 1/4"npt inlet if your worried about it being off center. So you will need a 2 bolt flange with...

Re: wastegate issue?

Those manifolds are notorious for having problems controlling boost. Look where the wastegate placement is, the exhaust has to make a 120 degree turn to exit out of the wastegate. My advice would be...

Re: Horsepower limit of ID1000 & Walbro 450 on E85

You will want the F9000267. That is the one that is e85 compatible. The 274 is for gasoline only.

Re: 80lb siemens deka injectors on GSR?

Not sure why people even consider using these injectors anymore since the bosch based injectors came out. Do your motor a favor and use a bosch based injector. For $60 more you can get a bosch 900cc...

Re: **Post your Fuel System and Questions**

If your using e85 I would not use the bosch 044. They are not e85 compatible, we had customers using them with e85 and they had a high rate of failure. I would recommend the deatschwerks 350iL fuel...

Re: Paradise Racing Triple Bosch 044 set up?

Bosch 044's are not E85 compatible. We've had 5 fail in the last 5 months, common denominator was all the cars were on E85 fuel.

Just wait until the new deatschwerks inline fuel pumps comes out....

Re: Finally Getting My Turbo Set Up Going

The guy you got the line from was misinformed. Your feed line is a -4, and your turbo inlet is 1/8" npt.

So you need a 1/8"npt to -4 oil restrictor. We do have those in stock. We don't have them...
