saenz k-series sequential dog engagement conversion...

I saw little ad "new product coming soon" in the new modified mag. Saenz has straight cut dog engagement gearset avail in 1-4 or 1-6 with a brace for both shafts...new prob beefier forks to work...

Yes bleed and have someone push pedal in and out and look and make sure slave is moving the release bearing fork about an inch.

What pressure plate did you install? If its a stock replacement it feels light. Have someone pump the clutch and see how much the slave moves. Check for fluid leaks at the piston dust boot seals....

The case should never be forced closed you may have bent or broke something for sure. Case should wiggle drop closed easily. Then you should be able to shift through gears with something like...

The washer under the big mainshaft top end bearing might not have the tab lined up into respective groove in the gearhousing. Pull the case up an, as is, take above shot and some diff shots of...

Look really close at the changer mechanism the bent metal piece that moves the 1/2 and 5/r forks...sounds like that could be bent simulating a partial/full engagement not giving you true neutral. ...

When you put the case back together did you have to force closed or did it go back together easily? Something inside isn't put together right...take pics of the gearhousing off and I'll see if I can...

you have a stuck gear in your...umm...'00 gsr transmission? try and drain it and remove the 3/4 shift detent under the transmission. might have jammed and locked it up in 4th position. if it's...

^ do that...that transmission sounds like it has several issues. definitely needs 3/4 and 5/r sleeve/synchro sets to say the least.

so that 14mm is crossthreaded now? clean up the threads with tap and dies. was the bolt ever able to tighten after reassembly? cuz you said it spun fine...did you not put the idler bolt in at that...

is it completely blocked out when you try and shift or does it grind? try to roll of 1st gear with the car running and basically try and shift the car without the clutch...just see if goes in...

do you have good pedal pressure? and have you checked to see if the slave is moving/releasing the clutch sufficiently. so it does go into every gear when the motor is off? it kinda sounds like you...
