How do you explain the aluminum Mahle pistons that are supposed to work with FRM bores? I always thought it was the rings that tore up the cylinder walls but I am not sure.

Not sure Tony, but the current springs in the motor are tired. We only heard a couple of pops but sometimes it is the rate of acceleration rather than the rpms that can cause float. I guess we will...

Good call, it was popping from valve float. A new set of SuperTech springs and retainers are going in that should cure that problem.

Yeah, the boost was controlling us, nothing but the spring. We really just wanted to see if we were in the ball park with the tune. On other dynos, in the past, we were just ripping the tires loose...

Just a guess. Maybe the synthetic oil you are using does not smoke as it is burned in your combustion chamber. If you switched to non-synthetic, you might find that it smokes out the tail pipe.
