Hey I'm putting an LS1 in a 90 Miata and I want to do an aluminium exhaust from the headers back. I'd build it myself but I don't have a TIG. My problem is I can't find anyone around here...

I think the Lincoln manual says to set the gas to 30-40 for inside IIRC.

No, but the welder a cheat sheet on it that tells you what to set it per the gauge of the material you're welding. I presume with two different gauges I should go with the thinner one but I've been...

Going to be using a lincoln 140 mig. I presume I use the setting for sheet metal? Any tips for welding the plates into the body of the car? I don't want to f this up....

2" ridged insulation locked together forms a vapor barrior, poly is not required and overkill imo.

You should run the insulation up the sides of the footings past the inside slab edge to the top...

If it's slipping that bad won't there be an obvious discrepency between mph measured at the dyno and shown on the cars speedo?
