Re: High revving turbo motor.. what cams? (Jared)

Stay away from ITR cams as they have too much duration. Turbo motors benefit from big lift & short duration to move as much air as possible without blow-by. I have personally seen 2 1.8's making...

Re: checking oil... (corky2k)

Me personally... I think that you will get the best reading when the motor has sat, because all of the oil will have had time to drain to the pan. I don't think that you're going to see a huge...

Re: Installing TypeR head onto a GSR block.... how will this affect C/R?? (ek9t)

I guess if you like coolant mixed with your oil & a fluid covered block along with oil pressure & head temperature problems, or just don't have the cash for a headgasket this could be a solution.......

Re: Data Logger (NineTwoAccord)

For a turbo application, Hondata is a killer product. I do not own one myself, but I have seen two different cars run them and the tunability and datalogging is awesome. The software is lite and...

Re: How much quicker will a b18c hatch be than a b16a hatch? (CivicRacer)

For the price of B16's nowadays, if you are mechanically competent, get the B16a and start work on a 1.8 or 2.0 liter block. With the B16a, you get a transmission with tighter gears and a head that...

Re: RSX Type S runs a 14.34 at 97mph bonestock! (Spikey)

The more surge, the worse the performance. The surge felt when low lobe turns to high lobe is a direct representation of lost power toward the top of the low lobe RPM's... if VTEC was perfect,...

Re: Oil Line for Ls/Vtec?? and some questions. (*****rAcEr)

??? As far as I know, you can use either oil pump as they are both physically the same size and mount into the block. As for VTEC, if he's not feeling it, something 'aint right.
