most parts are interchangeable. what exactly do you need? i was in the same situation you were in, thinking my choices were limited. with some research, i know the b17a pretty damn good.

the stock head gasket has three metal layers riveted together to make one gasket. on the other hand the spoon has only two layers, thus raising your compression ratio.

actually the majority of of b16a(honda) gaskets are the same as the b18c(acura).

so basically the pistons on the b16b sit further away from the combustion chamber , thus the lower cr.

it's really hard to tell just by the how many miles the motor has. it also depends on the oil and filter that is used and also the frequency of the oil changes. there is only one way to be sure,...
