Thanks man, yes I do have the ZC Tranny. I guess I just have to count the splines on the input shaft then and see. I know the 88 si tranny was the only one with 21 splines 89-91 years had 20...

Could be a small short somewhere in the cables leading to the battery that's placed in the back? Definitely a good idea to check all the wiring though.
