Re: 08 civic Squealing on back wheel

Re: FS: 1997 EK9 Civic Type R

If it was US spec no problem, but unfortunately this car is not 25 years or older and is not on the DOT allowable import list.

Re: ITR vs CTR ECU fuel map

If you are going to run a USDM Ecu with a JDM motor I believe you'll need to put a crank angle sensor on your motor and either use a USDM VTEC solenoid or rewire the VTEC.

Re: A Reminder… crash white R

The crash happened in 2000 and the footage was used in a french Canadian's band music video shortly after. Here's the music video version of the crash.

Re: Engine Problems - Mechanics don't know

You don't need the secondary O2 sensor for the car to run correctly. You can unplug the sensor completely and the car will run as normal, you'll just have a check engine light.

Re: Engine Problems - Mechanics don't know

+3 on the wide band O2 sensor. Most likely the signal range on the wide band is out of range for the stock ecu and making it go berserk.

Re: Va weather in feb/march?

It almost never snows in Va Beach and if it does snow it almost never sticks. You'll be fine with regular tires.

I know this is off topic but what are the signs that you have a worn out LSD or it's beginning to go out?

Re: 18 mph grind no matter what gear 09 SI

That sound is most likely your ABS pump. Once you go over 18mph ABS turns on and does a self check. It shouldn't be a grinding, more like a buzzing.

Re: jdm itr 16" wheel and tires question

215/45/R16 = 205/50/R16 as far as sidewall height (same wheel diameter), the 205 is just a skinnier tire.
