It's whatever you want to think...

Engines are running in the 180 degree range, thats only 32 degrees before water starts to boil. Unless, where you live things are different... hehehehe

Yes an engine will blow white smoke when running rich... If I set my fp a little to high, it will start smoking white.

What kind of fp are you running...?

Probably better off using a ARP Head Stud kit, especially with a turbo. They will pay for themselves, the next you have to pull the head....

Chances are it's evaporating from hitting something hot, before it reaches the ground. Thats probably why your only finding a small puddle...

It's probably more about intake temps giving the impression of lose of power, rather then anything else. Otherwise, it would start showing up on the boost gauge...

Just keep an eye on the timing tho. Thats the biggest differance between the PM6 and P28 ECU's, rather then the fuel mapping... hehehe

Probaably be happier going with the Z6 head over an A6... I swapped a Z6 on to mine, and there was vast improvement in the top end... hehehe

This is way off the wall... Check and see if any oil is on the inside of the rim/tire around the bead. "Maybe" enough oil worked itself around the bead, breaking it loose enough to cause a leak, from...

Some peeps have ended up taking it to a shop, and having them break it loose (if it's still drivable). Then just torquing it back down enough, to get it home.

They can be torqued anywhere from 80...

Try and get the ckf code 54 fixed before trying anything else... That could be the main reason why it's running rich, the ECU is in Limp mode.

Works on mine with just one wire, like mentioned above. Just tap into there are anywhere past the connection where it hooks into the wiring harness...

Has the level been checked in the rad, along with all the air being bleed out of the system... Trapped air will...

That was more for example, about white smoke and fuel on the HF with bad dist..

It "should" throw a code if something was bad in the dist., like you mentioned. However have you checked the ECU...

I found a old Radio Shack indoor/outdoor thermometer(sp) and put the outside probe in the intake. To see what kind temps that it was really seeing. With the stock intake, temps starting climbing well...

Running a engine to lean can destroy an O2, which would "almost" be the same as putting a torch to it. They are suppose to run in the 600+ degree range in most cases. Might try the junk yards, or...

Running rich will also cause white smoke... If I set my fp a little to high, white smoke will appear... Sooo, you might look in the direction of your fuel system. Also, I have also seen a white cloud...

I have heard peeps have used brake cleaner, to get a little more life out of them. However, probably best to just get a new one in the long run...

Your sucking in heat off the engine and exhaust header, going with a short ram. Which in turn is costing hp, due to the higher intake temps...
