How-to: GK independent fog lamps

Since leasing our '15 EX-L, I've wanted to modify the fog lamps so that they function independently of the headlamps, thereby offering better performance in dense fog or inclement weather. I finally...

GK fog lamp relay?

Does anyone know the exact location of the OEM fog lamp relay on the GK? It's a little colder outside than I though it'd be today, so I was hoping perhaps someone can save me from having to poke...

Re: oil leaks after oil change

I've noted something similar after changing the oil on my car (non-Honda with a vertically mounted filter). The very small amount of residual oil that I used to lubricate the filter gasket ran down...

Re: bent valves. pistons ok?

Depending upon how significant the groove is, I would suggest polishing out any sharp edges as best you can to eliminate the potential for a hot spot to form in that location.

Re: Volk Magnesium Blue paint code or closest code to the color

The colour is proprietary to Rays Engineering, so you aren't going to find a code for it. Your best bet is to visit your local paint shop and flip through some of their samples to find one that you...

Re: Air Conditioner Screeches

It really depends upon what sort of "screeching" you're hearing. If the belt is loose, it could cause a screeching sound. However, if the belt is properly tensioned and you're still hearing the...

Re: dry carbon (pre-preg) targa roof for our del Sol's...

This thread seems to be degrading rapidly.

Initially, it appeared to me as though the original poster was simply surveying fellow del Sol owners about a potentially useful (and not entirely...

Re: D.I.Y Valve Adjustments

Nice tutorial. Two things I would add:

1. You'll want to make sure that the motor is completely cold (preferably having sat overnight) before doing the adjustment.

2. If you don't mind...

Re: Cage weight

Depending upon the exact construction, you can estimate roughly 80-90 pounds for a mild steel cage such as the one described in your attached documents.

Re: usdm itr collector

The runner sizes between the two are essentially identical, as both the USDM ITR and the LS manifolds use the same top section. The difference is only found in the lower half, where the ITR has a...

The ST Corsa sprockets were indeed a great, innovative design.

I have not personally used them, but the Evolution Industries/Bisimoto Engineering "Time'n Lock" sprockets seem to be the next best...

Re: Possible Hydrolock?

You can certainly pull the plugs just to be safe, but it's more than likely just moisture in the ignition system. Dry everything out and you should be fine.

Re: HELP!! Brake lights are on...but the car isn't.

Sounds like a faulty brake switch. I had the same issue with my Jetta GLI, and ended up having to pull the brake light fuse to keep the battery from dying until I could replace the switch. ...

Re: Farewell Old Friend (R.I.P. 98-1010)

Re: Will fully synthetic engine oil damage my CRV's engine?

At 126,000 miles, if the engine has been run with conventional oil up until this point, I would recommend sticking with a quality conventional changed at appropriate intervals.

Re: B16a injectors??

Instead of replacing them, you can also simply have your existing injectors cleaned and flow-tested by someplace like WitchHunter Performance (http://www.witchhunter.com/).
