Re: john thomas 86 honda civic, tom lombardo solo2 national champ (Killa-X)

You can take Evolution Driving school, JT is one of the instructors. Depending on location and time he may or may not be teaching. You can learn from the master himself.

Re: First Kosei K1 cracking I've heard of. Funny topic too (ryan12321)

17's with the rubber bands called tires, don't provide much protection from potholes, curbs, etc. Most racers I know would trash the cracked wheels and not look back.

Re: OT: Would you get caught in a Crossfire? (MechE00)

5th gear did a segment on the car a while back. From what I recall, he hated it. You may be able to download the clip.

Cliff notes of segment:
hates the styling
does not like the tranny...

Re: Raising the car? (Snowball 2)

Go find a 4x4 or rock crawler website and see what they do to the trucks. Then translate each action they do into something for the car. I can only imagine it will take some custom parts and trial...

Lawn tractor tire or inner tube
bicycle inner tube wrapped in a coil

Re: tire rubbing in the front (jaydmdc2)

Re: More body roll & less steering response after new 'wider' tires (eeediot)

I have the 512's for winter/all season tires. The sidewalls are pretty soft, which will cause the tire to deform rather than give nice crisp steering feel.

They do well for daily driver use, but...
