Re: (LudemanDan)

Bostons! They sound warm and rich but very precise. As with most things, you get what you pay for. If you buy the low-line Bostons and compare them to the $500 Quarts in your GSR you'll be...

Re: valve adjustment question.... (honda011)

If you have patience, a few tools, and a shop manual, it's not bad to do on your own. See the links posted above https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif .

Re: cracked windshield! (DirtyD12Dozen)

Claiming it on most insurance policies will also cause your rates to increase at renewal time -- better off fixing it out-of-pocket.

A tree limb fell recently and smashed mine ...

Re: broke valve cover studs need help (DAintegraGSR)

Acura and/or Honda dealership should have them. Those things are SO easy to break -- I've done it many times. Be sure not to exceed their torque spec, and you should be fine, once you replace the...

Re: newbert clutch question (2000turbogsr)

If your fluid is low, I'd recomend you stick your head up under the dash on the driver's side and take a look at the firewall where the clutch master cylinder piston comes through. Your symptoms...

Re: Motor oil question (7k rdlne)

5w30 in the winter, 10w30 in the summer

If you've got any oill consumption problems, 10w30 is a safer bet.

For a turbo'd car, I'd change the oil no less than every 2,000 miles.

Re: now im really aggravated...6 hours and still no change (yehiknowrite)

Many times a mysterious exhasut rattle can be blamed on the spring-loaded bolts at the cat. If you still have these on the exhaust, they may be your culprit.

After removing them to install a new...

Re: (projectTeG)

Have you checked the timing? If the timing got messed up in the swap it could cause erratic behavior. However, if it's smoking, it sounds more serious than plugs, wire, cap, timing, etc.

You're probably talking about this (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-bvI3zAizW3W/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=227550&I=500KCA801B) adapter/box. I thought about it, but for $80, I'd rather buy the KCA-420i...

Re: another iPod interface question (fcm)

I'd love to get the KCA-420i, but unfortunately, my head unit is a few years old (approx. 5 yrs. old), so it won't work -- at least, that's what Alpine claims, and that's what most of the audio...

Re: Tips on using BRL CAD? (jweller)

I've never used BRL CAD, but if you need any tips for AutoDesk's AutoCAD, I am very familiar with that. I use AutoCAD on a regular basis (drafting, 3-D modelling, etc).
