Pulled the intake manifold off enough again and reconnected the battery to check the voltage going on that wire to the starter. It read 12V, so it is definitely getting power at the starter, and...

Got my Skunk 2's with their valvetrain upgrades for my Si and want a reputable shop to put them in (without having to drive 2 hours to get there). I'm just outside of Columbia in MD.

I just got a used '06 and was getting flustered that going into 3rd (and even 4th) is an issue. Glad I found this! Gotta contact my local Honda dealer now.

Man, this could get expensive ...... but I failed MD emissions because of the codes. The car is still running well and doesn't go into limp mode, but I hate knowing that there is an issue with it...

I know that at least one cyclinder has some blow by because I burn oil like a champ and got some cods for the #1 cylinder that sound like they are piston related. My car has 127k miles on it now...
