re: Titan101's GSR 2.0L Interceptor / Terminator Build Expansion

The topic is very similar to other watercooled parts.. e.g. watercooled wastegates, EGR cooler, etc... It depends on the amount of flow that is actually going through the turbo, vs your EGT's.

On...

Re: Low end torque?

- B-series motor 1.8L + as mentioned
- Shorter final drive
- higher compression ratio
- Adjustable cam gear and advance it a few degrees
- Rip out your interior and shave some weight

Outside...

Re: Gringo's 946whp/630ftlbs T3 .82A/R PTE 6466 Dyno

Quick question, are you running just an off the shelf Comp twin disc clutch?

Re: Gringo's 946whp/630ftlbs T3 .82A/R PTE 6466 Dyno

I don't have first hand experience with any alcohol fuels with the Racelogic =) For extra injectors, having them spraying on top of a fuel cut is just wrong though, unless you cut both sets during...

Re: Gringo's 946whp/630ftlbs T3 .82A/R PTE 6466 Dyno

Haha, I do have a Racelogic TCS on mine and the ability to cut each cylinder individually, and with a 6-cyl engine, my resolution of cut is smoother than any 4-cyl for comparison. But I still try not...

Re: Gringo's 946whp/630ftlbs T3 .82A/R PTE 6466 Dyno

Don't go too big! A smooth yet responsive acceleration is what makes FWD hook. I am no different, I am running 225-40-18 NT-01's on my Camry, and it's hooking 1128 WHP and 720 WTQ in 3rd gear (1.258...

Re: Gringo's 946whp/630ftlbs T3 .82A/R PTE 6466 Dyno

Haha, you're lucky that the car hooked! That torque hump could have made the race into a loss, if it ever spun ever so slightly...LOL I am sure you know by now, car has to hook 100% to take down...

re: Titan101's GSR 2.0L Interceptor / Terminator Build Expansion

That's a potential issue... Based on the coolant flow direction of our Hondas, it is no different than other cars say a 2JZ-GTE or a Subaru EJ25. Based on how those OEM turbo cars have routed their...

Re: dynos of sc61 with .48 ar turbine?

I do have a graph of a very similar turbo, a T3/T4 Stage III with a GT35R compressor wheel and a 0.48 A/R housing on a stock ITR motor. I'll post it up tonight.

It was not a great match, because...

Re: Dyno sheet for high comp, turbo, vtec killer?

I don't have it on my shop computer, but I can post up an F22C, 11.5:1 CR, with the Garrett 67mm GTW3884R on stock cams when I get back home.

However, The VTEC still works and that greatly...

Re: Go-Autoworks Bullseye Spec Turbo help!

The STC Hunter is probably the closest thing you want, and well within your price range. The R&D on these turbos were very Honda specific as well, so it really narrows the possible choices. I...

Re: Gringo's 946whp/630ftlbs T3 .82A/R PTE 6466 Dyno

Talking about representing the Honda community in the big leagues, and with a B-series =)

The reaction from the R8 owner was pretty entertaining... He got hurt there pretty badly. It's another...

Re: Would this catch can setup making any sense?

Looks okay to me, nothing on the loose side in particular. My street motors are roughly those specs, so you have nothing to worry about =)

Re: Cam gears worth it for 350HP?

It is highly recommended but not needed. Most folks have to realize that parts like cam gears are application specific.

If you have a very aggressive "spooling" setup like a GT28RS with a high...

Re: Would this catch can setup making any sense?

It's really odd... I can only recommend to double check for any vacuum leaks at places like your injector seals, IM gasket or TB gasket. 1K RPM is a lot of airflow with a PCV valve in place.

Re: **OFFICIAL FORCED INDUCTION RANDOM CHAT THREAD**

As long as the 1/8" plate doesn't have extended length or leverage on the piece (short and stubby at the bolting point), it will be plenty of strength so no worries.

It's great not just...

Re: **OFFICIAL FORCED INDUCTION RANDOM CHAT THREAD**

The correct way is to adjust the bracket to be neutral before you bolt on any other items to the manifold such as the turbo, downpipe, etc..

It's difficult to do that, so usually I would set it to...

Re: Would this catch can setup making any sense?

The high idle is indicating a huge flow of vacuum from the IM... Did you use the same S80 valve as Shodan? The only place for the crankcase to receive vacuum is through the check valve (or PCV...

Re: Lost 20whp after itr cams install

Haha, not quite! He lost power across the powerband, but valve float is a lot more RPM-biased rather than boost. Power and torque will plummet with a decreasing slope as RPM increases and boost...

Re: Would this catch can setup making any sense?

Yup, by doing that will eliminate the fumes when you are sitting in traffic. That would be a perfect setup because you still have one port at the back of the block for proper drainage, and you have...

Re: Would this catch can setup making any sense?

I think you are a bit unsure of how the PCV system gets vented and the direction of flow it takes =) The PCV valve works by supplying vacuum if it is hooked up to the intake manifold in a regulated...
