Help! Tach and Speedo off in 93 DX.

So when my car is at idle my Tach is reading 0 RPMs and my Speedo is almost 7 mph off! Any idea if the two could be related or any suggestions on what to try to fix these problems?

Complete distributor assembly, coil, ignition module, plug wires. There was something else but i can't remember at the moment. Anyway with install and tax it came out to a little over $700
