Default TURBO ELEMENTS fuel cell

does anyone know or can get in contact with turbo elements? i have been having issues with this company for since i purchased a fuel cell back in april.

the story:

i purchased a 5 gallon fuel cell from this "company" in the beginning of april in addition to a fuel pump, filter, lines and fittings. they told me it would take a few weeks to have it shipped out because they need to build a new batch. i said ok, weeks later still no tank but they had provided a tracking number.. i tried calling and emailing them and they did not respond. finally i opened up a dispute with paypal and lord and behold they got in contact with me that same day said they were having computer/phone issues and that i needed to close the dispute for them to be able to ship the product. i stupidly giving them the benefit of the doubt and not knowing that that was not true i did as they told me. it was not until mid may that i received that tank. i take a look at the products they sent me, first thing i noticed was wrong was they didn't provide me with all the fitting i needed for the install which they said they would. i tried calling and emailing them they did not respond i said **** it ill just buy the things because apparently they are no help. around the same time i had a family emergency and other things going on that prevented me from installing the fuel cell. it was not until about a month or two ago i got around to installing it and i found the second problem, the fuel cell was leaking gas from the fuel pump feed outlet on the tank. ever since i have been calling and emailing them regarding the issue. they called me back once and i believe it was because i tricked them into believing i was going to purchase a product from them. i told them the issue and they said they would call me back two weeks later and i still haven't gotten a call from them.

i dont know if anything can be done,im i afraid im going to loose a lot of money but i just want to give people a warning that people should stay away from them unless you live near by and could walk in there and handle the matter personally.

heres pictures i sent them regarding the leak

according to your story, your best bet is to cut your losses and warn everybody of this company. clean the aluminum and have somebody locally throw a nice bead on the fitting.

I'm just going to make this quick as I have already talked to John on this issue today.

I'm not going to get into the shipping times as I have plenty of emails stating the hold up on the fuel level provision in us getting it made to make sure it worked for his application, again not that it makes it ok but we were in communication about that.
The other missing part was the fill neck that no one else provides with a tank, but I did tell him the part number for what would work and he could pick it up for under $15 at a local parts store.

Now to the leak he did contact me 2 weeks ago about the leak and I asked him to send me pics so I can see exactly what he was talking about, and I had told him that there could be a couple reasons it is leaking. One being we had a couple bad an fittings that were cut too short and would not seal (thought we had got all of those but one could have still been in the bin), two the end could have been slightly damaged in shipping causing the fitting to no seat properly, and then there is the weld could have been bad but these are checked prior to shipping for leaks. We didn't get the pictures until the day before yesterday in the afternoon and had not gotten a chance to respond since we got them.

But again we have contacted John and are awaiting some further pictures so that we can get this rectified.

They don't exactly hide their contact information on their website, just sayin'. But seriously, that's some shitty work, and shitty work on a fuel cell is straight up dangerous. Also...

Have nothing but great products and service from Tim... Ordered a good amount of parts from him and for friends and customers without a problem. Communication and quality was always great. I'm sure he will do what he can

inb4Mods put you in your place. If your reply was deleted, it was deleted for a reason. Fix it and repost it, or we'll just assume you're full of ****. So, let's hear it. I'm really curious why a company would ship something that shitty. It doesn't even look like that bung is welded in. I wouldn't even accept that from an oil return line in my pan. What makes your "fabricators" think it's OK for something as critical as a fueling point?

Nothing against Tim or his company because they seem to make really nice parts and I am even looking at a few myself but that last response doesn't really make me feel comfortable ordering from someone like that.Like I said nothing against you guys and I understand we customers can be absolute A holes at times but that doesn't really excuse that type of response.Just my .02 and it might not be worth much.

Did you see the thread about the manifold where the flange for the waste gate broke?

He said it was gonna take a couple weeks to fix because he didn't have any flanges in stock

It almost looks like the cell was made by someone else, shipped to them, then they just welded on their company stamp and shipped it out. So, I wonder which factory in Taiwan that cell came from...

He posted it in multiple subs, all where it was fitting. It's called maximizing exposure. Someone in FI might be able to help that never ventures into NA, or vice versa. I see nothing wrong with doing that, especially when it comes to a $350+ piece of garbage.
