Saratoga Technologies INC. Del Sol Acrylic Glass Targa Top
The top is in excellent condition, has one small hairline crack. I have had the top for about 6 years i would say and it has never given me any problems. No leaks.
The reason I am selling it is because i am painting my car and I don't want the different colored roof, so I am going back to an OEM roof.
This item is very unique and very rare. Give the car an awesome detail that many Del Sols do not have.
I am asking $500 firm plus the cost of shipping.

It was not a factory option. The only company that made it, that i know of is Saratoga Technologies which now is Ameripol.

Had I not just purchased new seals for my roof to stop the leaking, I'd have enough for this. Sometimes life is a kick in the nuts. :/

I love that top, though. If it isn't sold by the 15th I'll have a hard time saying no.

ReadyJetsGo is a liar and a thief.

I purchased the Saratoga top back in January and have regretted it ever since. He was originally going to charge me $400 for it until he sent me detailed pictures of the "hairline crack", which was in fact pretty substantial. I decided I no longer wanted it (especially at that price) and he immediately started lowering his price until he was begging me to buy it for $250 shipped. I should have taken this as a warning, but it seemed like too good of a deal to pass up.

A few days later the top arrived and I soon discovered that two of the corners had cracked and fell off, supposedly during shipment. He informed me that he insured the package and would file a claim. FedEx picked up the package for inspection and I didn't hear anything from ReadyJetsGo for 3 weeks. When I asked him if he had heard anything he told me that he completely forgot to text me and that he only got $50 back for shipping, which he said he would refund me. When I asked if I was even going to get the top back from FedEx he told me that they had sent it back to him and that he gave it away because it was damaged. He then told me he had disputed the claim and it would take 7-10 more days for it to be reviewed. Another 2 weeks went by with no response so I had to text him again and he said that he never heard anything back. I then asked him to just send the $50 so I could be done with it and he told me to give him 3 weeks for him to get his paycheck because he had just spent every dime he owned on his del sol. Now here we are and he has not responded to any of my texts for the last 3 days. It really wasnt even about the money since $50 isnt that much, I was just hoping he would be a decent human being which he has proved that he is not.



A few things I learned from this experience are:

1) NEVER send a paypal payment as a gift, always pay the fees for buying goods/services. If I wouldnt have tried to save him a few bucks I could have just disputed this claim with paypal and he would have been the one sh#t out of luck.

2) If you ever have any issues with shipment, make sure YOU are the one who files the claim with the shipping company. Otherwise they will send any refund as well as the package back to the person who shipped it.

3) ReadyJetsGo is an immoral scumbag who would rather sell his soul for $50 rather than do the right thing and be a decent person. I am a firm believer in karma and I can only hope he will eventually get screwed way worse than I have in this situation. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to purchase anything else he has for sale to run in the opposite direction.
