FS: VLTC Conversion!!
Thats rite - these tires are the latest craze for VLTC- Variable Layer Tire Configuration!
rather than purchase JUST a pair of snow tires, you can NOW PURCHASE my snow tires, and retread your stockies.. all those ricers with their 20" nittos will think they can smoke you, then BAM, lite em up, and off they peel! Dual stage tire control! Fool em every time!
ok, or you can just buy my snow tires.
I've got a set of 15" snow tires, mounted on 110x4 rims. I cant use them for the RSX, so I want to sell so I can buy a new set.
The tires have only been used for one winter, with approx 8k miles on them. 99% of tread is left, with little rubber studs still there!
I havent taken a pic of the actual rims/tires, as they have been in storage since last yr. I will take them out and provide pics for interested parties.
The specs:
Tires: Gislaved Nord Frost II, 185-65/15. This is the best link I've found for them, nuttin much listed on em, all in Swedish! http://www.swedishsolution.com/snow.html
Rims: Primax 104's. Decent rim. looks good on the Teg nad Civic. here is a pic of the rim. http://www.rim1.com/104.htm I have the silver with silver caps.
Price: I paid $600 for rims, and $475 for tires, with mounting and balancing on these rims.(still have receipts) I'm asking $700 OBO. I'm located in NYC/westchester area, and am willing to meet fairly local (tri-state) parties. You WONT get a better set of winter tires, on decent rims, for ANYWHERE near this cost!
