thats my thread with pretty much any info about them you want to find.
The reason i am selling this is because i dont have the time (working and a full fall semester) to mess with them and get them running right. I'm in college and could use the money.
There are little problems with them. The angle of them is wrong for an h22 in a prelude chassis (motor sits tilted back). Perfect for the H2B guys (motor sits more tilted more forward). I was going to fix the throttle linkage the way i wanted but i really dont even feel like messing with that either. I had a problem with the linkage springs popping out. I think this is because the tabs that were welded onto the linkage need to be bent in order to properly hold the spring in and keep it from sliding out.
The throttles are welded onto the intake runners. When they were welded, #3 throttle was slightly warped. We were able to synch 1,2, and 4 perfectly but couldnt get the 3rd lined up.
I've got about 900 into them, including the velocity stacks which were 200. I know that since these arent perfect, im going to be losing a good bit of money. I would love for someone to buy these and get them working like i wanted them to.
I'm asking 460 shipped for the throttles without the velocity stacks and 650shipped with the stacks included. The stacks are BRAND new. I will also throw in an assortment of vacuum hoses.
here are a few pictures:
and a video to prove that i had them running:
Any questions dont be afraid to ask. I would really rather sell them on here instead of on ebay. But if noone takes them here, they will be going on ebay.
