custom DC2 fiberglass corner sub box w/ 12" Kicker L5 FS NOW ON EBAY
NOW ON EBAY!

Well I'm selling my GSR and the partout has begun. I'm a professional car audio installer and I built this box for my own car going above and beyond on construction quality and fitment. Here's the thread I started at TI after the build to show everyone:
http://www.team-integra.net/forum/17...-finished.html
Edits to that post:
-since then I made a mounting point using threaded rod to replace one of the 10mm panel bolts to protrude through a hole in the back of the box in order to bolt it in. This makes for a truly no-mod, bolt in perfect fit sub box.
-being in my daily driver (and semiannual suspension swaps) has taken it's toll on the suede, the plastic sub trim ring, and the top section has cracked from being over-tightenned to the side of the car. You can see it through the suede. not really garish, but noticeable. If you wanted it perfect you'd have to strip off the suede, glue the cracks, and re-cover or paint/finish how you want (I figure a lot of you would do this anyway)
-the sub has developed a slight buzz at low volume. I inspected the cone/spider adhesive and it looks good. could have been from an air leak through my mounting hole. Either way it sounds great at any other volume than extremely low.
-official weigh in with sub is 42 lbs.
here's some pics of the mounting stud and cracks:
Asking $300 shipped with sub OBO. Also have an eclipse XA1000 amplifier that I powered this with available to buyer for an extra $75. You won't find another box like this for sale likely ever, and having one made at a shop would be at least 600 plus sub plus amp and install.
