wilwood 6piston dynapro clearing the PF01 15x8?
I'm shopping for a bbk for my teg96 and was wondering if those wheel clears the wilwood 6pistons dynapro? I'm going in 17'' but I'd like to keep a set of 15'' wheel (PF01 15x8 et35) for gearing at some track... I have 3 set of spacers (2x10mm/1x5mm) to help to clear if needed...
Also anything I should know about this set up? ie reliability, pedal travel if stock brake keeped in the back, etc...?
Thanks!

I have this 11.9/4 piston kit and it just clears a 16x7. I've tried tons of 15x7's enkies/949/K1's/rota's and nothing fits. The barrel of the wheel is the problem with this size rotor/caliper. These pictures just show spoke clearance which is 3 sheets of paper. I don't know if 8's would fit but most wheels have a bigger sized barrel that necks down as you get closer to the spokes, right where a caliper would be.

11.75" is about the biggest you can go and have 15's. TE37's and RE30's have unbelievable clearance not just spoke design but the taper of the barrel. Try 11.75" and Wilwood Superlite calipers.

Re: wilwood 6piston dynapro clearing the PF01 15x8?
I have Fastbrakes Superlite 6 pot kit which uses an 11.6" 1.1" rotor. Very few wheels worked for me. I couldn't clear my 949s 15x8 or 15x9 or my Enkey PF01s. The biggest issue for me was the wheel drop center coming in contact with the caliper.
I ended up getting a set of Volk TE-37SLs 15x8 which clear the brakes without any issues. I've also tried a set of Team Dynamics 15x7s and they clear without any issues. From what I've seen as well it looks like the 15x8 Grams 57DRs might work as well.
Hope that helps

I've researched to help a friend who wants to go 300mm or 11.9 and found these rims to have fit.
volk ce28 15x7 +43
kosei k1 15x7 +38
volk te37 +30
do you really need 12.19 brakes? have you considered s2000 front brakes?

Are those of you using 11.5" to 11.9" brakes using the dynapro 6 piston caliper? The only kit I've seen that uses the dp6 (albeit with limited research) has a 12.2 inch rotor.
How is the reliability and performance of the superlite caliper?

Brigning this thread back since I haven't decided yet...
What I notice, is that from the pics you are posting here, not much of you guys use spacer... If the prob is the inner barrel of the wheel near the spoke that come narrower, why not just use spacers to make it clear?

Re: wilwood 6piston dynapro clearing the PF01 15x8?
I have the dynapro 6 on 11.75 rotors and the only way they clear my 15x8 PF01's is with a 18.5mm spacer. Using GSR knuckles.
The FFD 15x8 +20 wheels fit 100% FFD Motorsport 15 x 8 "EVO1"
Anthracite is several months out.
I have the wilwood part number for the bracket you need to use the wilwood 11.75 rotors on GSR knuckles, it uses the same DP6 caliper and rotor hat in their off the shelf 12.19 DP6 kit. this still wont work with any 15" wheel except maybe the TE37 mentioned in this thread.

Re: wilwood 6piston dynapro clearing the PF01 15x8?
I received the 12.19" Dynapro 6 kit for christmas in 2013 and was told my PF01 would clear them and this was a lie.
I was then told by a different company that if I dropped down to an 11.75 rotor they then would clear and this was erroneous info.
I was then sold/informed of additional parts and told by the same company this would remedy my wheel fitment issue and this was erroneous info.
I was then sold the Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 and was told my fitment issue would be resolved. Either the info was erroneous or the MFG of the wheel changed the design spec of the drop center of the wheel. These wheels still came in contact with the drop center of the Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2, even with using a 22mm spacer.
the 11.75 DP6 set up I have now only clears the PF01 with a 20mm spacer shaved down to 18.5mm. The Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 were returned for a full refund.
I think the company that helped me to where I'm at currently just didn't remember that my current set up may have cleared my PF01 or the Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 had I been using DX knuckles and not the GSR knuckles I have.
I had bought the Integra Dynapro 6 12.19 kit shown in the diagram below

I know of no 15" wheel currently available that will clear this kit on a GSR knuckle. I was told by 949 racing "our 15x10 6UL wheel with a bit of a spacer will clear your 12.19 kit, and our 15x9 wheel with a bit of a spacer will clear your 11.75 kit."
here is the corrected dimensions of the 11.75 Frankenstein kit im using
I have 2 confirmed 15" wheels that will clear the 11.75 kit I have.
the FFD EVO 1Now the Enkei RPF1 in 16x8 +38 will clear the 12.19 DP6 kit.
Hybrid Racing shows it in this thread
but I don't know if they have the DX Civic kit or the Integra kit. there is a hub offset difference.
I would use a DX knuckle except I need Integra knuckles for the ABS fitting to run Hondata traction control.
