Just curious how things like Harry's Lap Timer works for solo. Ideally I'd like to get SoloStorm, and probably will before next season, but it's $200 I'd rather put toward prepping the car at the moment. I've got an older HP tablet that I can dedicate if it's an android based program, or use my iphone for Harry's. While video would be nice, I really liked seeing how SoloStorm worked even without video in the overlay's from different drivers and runs.

Oh, and I know for SS to work properly I've been recommended to get a higher hz gps logger than most phones, something in 10 to 20hz for more accuracy. Would that be the same for other apps?

I've always had amazing success with my AIM Solo. It's simple to use, a lot of fellow racers seem to use AIM so it's easy to share data and get expertise from other people.

I use mine primarily for Time Attack/Lapping however I've used it in the past for some AutoX events and it always worked great there as well.

Autosport labs Racecapture/Pro2 and I review with AEMData. Solostorm is great too for between-run data review.

No matter what you end up using for data get a good 10hz external GPS
