Hey guys what is the best color to paint the inside of your racecar as far as keeping clean, heat, and not having a glare on the windshield?

Went with a light grey from Hammerite.
I went with something slightly darker, but wished I did it like the pic above.
In a more natural light setting....

I would agree or dark blue so it hides dirt

Well my cars white inside now from the previous owner but I work on it and live with a dirt driveway so the car looks pretty dirty inside I'm thinking of going with a grey primer like said above and I get glare on the winshield from the white bars running by it so I guess I'll go with black there.
RJ how the hell is the inside of your car so clean?

he doesn't actually race it....
apparently they're awarding more show kaa points based on the number of bars in the interior.... since they're welded that's +1 for .RJ

Re: What is the best color to paint the inside of your race car? (NASAREGISTRAR)
I painted mine with a near match in full size spray can.
I got as close to the factory color as i could so if i missed a couple spots it wouldn't be blaringly obvious. It referesed the stock color nicely.
Stock colour was the concord blue metallic.
I used moto master near match and it came out great.

Re: Re: (Evan55)
I would not get too concerned about what interior colors make the car hotter, I don't think a thermometer would bear out a distinct advantage/disadvantage. I do think that grey variants are a good idea as they look cleaner longer. I went w/ a PPG GMG (think its a GM GMG actually) single stage.
interior shot
and w/ the extry paint, you can color match the wheels ... and drums

You're right, I haven't been to that track and I was only kidding since the hot chicks don't go to any of our tracks either unless NASA rents them for the day.

Re: What is the best color to paint the inside of your race car? (jisu009)
I'm a fan of white.. definetly not easy to keep clean though!
Blingtastic when it is though...
now the real question is... why am I on Honda-tech at 1 in the morning when I have a 10 page paper due tomorrow? I only have 1.5 pages written so far and I am still waisting time. I'm an idiot....

Re: What is the best color to paint the inside of your race car? (DMF)
I like to look of white, but grey has lower reflectance, less interior glare and lower contrast against black seats, dash & gauge faces. I like gloss or semi-gloss grey rather than primer because it does not absorb surface oil and wipes clean.
