So you think Bernie will pay the ransom? Or does his mother in law annoy him to the point he won't pay?

The Russians are reporting Kvyat is out after 2016.

I'd be surprised that this is news. And now that Gasly as found some form, I be he's partnered up with Sainz.

For his part, Alonso admitted the situation brought memories of 2007.

"Yeah, it reminds me of things as well," said Alonso. "Let's say Rosberg doesn't have an easy teammate.

"In that sense he's very strong on track, very fast, he never makes a mistake.

"And off the track he has significant influence. Good luck to Rosberg with that (laughs).

Definitely.

But look how well Verp is doing, and you know they made the right decision. The Red Bull giveth and the Red Bull taketh away.

Unlikely. Too much competition for available seats outside of Red Bull and he has already been shown to not have the performance of a top tier F1 driver.

In 2 years you'll see him on the Formula E or Indycar grid.

He's unrefined, but he's fast and generally delivers.

Dani is done in F1. as kmiata stated, competition is too great. Unless he finds some rusky money beyond RB to fund him a cheap seat somewhere, he go bye bye.

KMAG is the only one scoring points for them doe.

One of the more heartwarming stories of Russia was that Fernando Alonso and Kevin Magnussen were able to score their first points of the season and Romain Grosjean was able to pick up points for the third time in four races with the new Haas F1 team.

All three managed to profit from the chaos on the opening lap caused by Kvyat. Starting 14th, 15th and 17th respectively, Alonso, Grosjean and Magnussen found themselves 7th, 9th and 8th on the opening lap.

What happened from there was Sainz triggered the pit stops by pitting on Lap 11. Renault needed to pit Palmer first from 10th place, then Magnussen two laps later. Haas left it a lap too late and their stop was one second slower than Renault’s so it allowed Magnussen to jump him for 8th.
i think you mean accidentally scored points for them once.

Why dump the good(er) Renault driver? At least pick Joyloff. He's been awful in an awful car.

I don't think I'd like Dani back. I'm actually indifferent to him now that I think about it. Altho I did like his trollolol to Seb in China in the cool down room. Now i'm conflicted. THANKS BLUE. Maybe I can find the video...
