Honestly I like the Indy kit more than the roadrace kit. Love the pillars on the rear spoiler. Looks niiiiiace.

Its "grown on me" I guess. Its not the most beautiful car in the world, but the racing is awesome, there are street circuits, and American drivers. Are they the equivalent to F1? Of course not. But, the series is here, and really trying to attract more fans and keep costs down. This means there are multiple teams. And even the little guy can still pull out a great finish, and sometimes win one. I like the series, very much.

Yes, a few times. There's just not much asphalt racing here in good ole East Texas. Dirt is king here. When we've been on asphalt we've had to go east to Alabama and or Mississippi. Thats a pretty good haul for us. When he graduated from High School he chose to go to the University of Memphis. This has been great for him as he now has multiple surfaces on which to choose to race....

Indy Car as a series is pretty darn cool and has some really good racing. But wow are those cars fugly. They don't even look good going around the track. I still prefer the Conti and Pirelli GT series and of course WEC tops em all doe.

So what have I missed. Been out of the loop (not just HT loop either) for last 2 weeks. This work **** keeps getting in my way.

On a side note a Canadian goose flew into the side of the Integra while I was driving home from work Tue. That was most excellent.



You wanna talk about a rage moment. Good thing I work on Federal property so I can't pack heat when I'm at work. I'd have pulled over and shot every last one of those ******* geese.

The damage is worse than the pic shows too. There are also 2 what look like door dings 1 on top of the door and 1 on top of the quarter panel. I'm assuming those are bill/beak related.

No. This was legit work. I was providing incident support for a couple local events. Gets me out of the office but limits the amount of time I have to communicate with the outside world. Usually working 12-16 hour days and I don't really feel like looking at a computer to wind down after working on one all day. Not to mention I don't have a lot of wind down time on those days anyway. Usually end up with 6 hours of sleep if I'm lucky for several days in a row but can be up to 14 days...

Yeah the whole bird strike thing really pissed me off. I'm still pissed about it but less so as the damage has been pretty much fixed.



My PDR guy spent 8.5 hours on it today. He said he would like to spend a little more time on it there is 1 wave that still bothers him a lot. It's hard to see but there are a few other areas on the car we want to clean up so I'll take it back to him at some point in the next month or 2.
