nah, because more lean angle means more speed through the corner. so measuring lean angle through a given corner is really a function of speed and body position and most of these guys have perfect body position anyway (though there are obviously guys with different approaches to BP).
I *think* Wes is on the fence because slaying knee pucks is only cool when you first drag knee, and after that it's kind of pointless and not as fast. The knee goes down to gauge how much lean angle you've got left. After it touches, you can pick it up off the pavement and not drag it all the way through the corner.

-and Suzuki, being absent from MotoGP for almost 7years....FP1: 3rd
-Honda/Mclaren have no excuses, honestly. As stated before, Suzuki has done this the right way spending a full year testing BEFORE returning to the track.

I know next to nothing about Moto GP or any other bike racing. Wife and I love watching it but I'm a neophyte when it comes to anything about it.

The only thing I can think is A. McLaren/Merc couldn't come to an agreement about engines supply/price for 2015 a few years back so McLaren needed Honda to jump in a year early or B. Honda didn't realize how the scope of PU development narrowed. What I mean is I initially thought the PU limitations were applied to the years the PU was in competition and not tied to Calendar years. I wonder if Honda didn't grasp this at first and then when they realized had an o **** moment.
Of the 2 I think A is more plausible and if that is the case I 'm willing to give them a little bit of leeway but any other scenario I can think of is solely on them.

True. But weren't most the gains made on the electronic side of things? Or the new updates to that not compatible with the 2014 spec hardware?
