1998 was an awesome year Was the first full season of F1 that I watched. Schumacher/Ferrari/Goodyear vs Hakkinen/McLaren/Bridgestone. The two of them were so far ahead of everyone else that year. Look at the qualifying times from the final round:

I'm starting to think the radio ban is going to do what they intended and make the racing better.
When I am smiting the n00bz in iracing nobody tells me what to do.

Perhaps now that the cars will be suboptimal (via the lack of direction to have a continuously perfect (and dynamic) setup) there can be a larger differential of performance.
Or its F1, and they're follow each other until the tires fall off anyways.

Re: The Official Formula 1 2014 Season Thread
So most of the teams are running a 2014 steering wheel similar to the Merc's big display?
Quite a big display on there. I wonder if Ham can update his IG or tweet from it.
but Red Bull, Williams & Lotus are running something like this 2013 smaller display version?
and no coded messages allowed, just like when there was no team orders and teams still found a way to code their messages and issue team orders. Hope it doesn't affect RB or Williams too much though.

So this is the list of whats no longer allowed under clarification of reg 20.1

Lewis Hamilton: F1's radio ban like karting days | Mercedes | Formula 1 news, live F1 | ESPN F1
Lewis Hamilton Enjoys *****
"It's almost like putting more ***** in the air for us to catch, and we're already catching quite a lot. When I was told on Monday this is what we have to do I thought, 'cool, how can we utilise this?' All the experience we have over the years, all the things you have to do on the formation lap to get right so you have a good start - you've got the brake balance set right, the launch map correct.
