Nürburgring run in a B16 Mini cooper
Pretty cool vid. If a repost, I'll have it removed.
Guy saved it by countersteering several times. It looks scary at high speeds. That thing looks pretty stable even thought its weight distribiution is way off.

Another B16 cooper with ITBs

I wonder how agressive that B16 tranny feels with those tiny tires on the car...

Re: Nürburgring run in a B16 Mini cooper (Willard)
There is a guy in U.K. with a k20 mini cluman ( lil bigger ) and theres a video of it somewhere, it was on the cover of Miniworld magazine about a year ago, had 14" wheels with MG disc brakes all around. Looked extremely fast. Good vid btw

Re: Nürburgring run in a B16 Mini cooper (Lip)
I grew some love for mini coopers thanks to my uncle. He built a 84 or something with lots of cooper S parts including disc brakes and a 13:1 all motor cooper S full of original UK parts. I forgot his exact setup but it's pretty quick for what it is. He recently had the head gasket go
Oh well, so much for all motor reliability

There's a place in GA that acutally builds honda powered Mini's. IIRC is this site, but I haven't checked it yet.

Nope, wrong link. I'll find it again and link it here. You can buy them already done up with the B18's in them.
Ok, found it... http://www.gomini.com/

Re: (Lip)
Awesome vid
My pops mini travler w/1275s motor, was the funest car Ive ever driven.
Ive had a rusty 77 clubman sitting here for 5 yrs now waiting for a Honda donor. I just picked up a d16z6 that I may put to use...if I ever fix this thing.

yeah these little cars are nuts to drive fast. They dont feel too safe. I have one but with the 1275 cooper S' motor. probibly feels nothing like a B Motor. For those into Classic Mini Coopers, check out http://www.tunemini.com
