K series oil pans and baffle kits
Wondering if it's better to run CANTON or MOROSO race items or just to go with baffle.
I am running K24 steel oil pan with k20 oil pump on k24/20 engine.
Any experience info would be great to choose right.

Re: K series oil pans and baffle kits
canton are the best that ive seen in person and im running 1 on my bseries for superlap (its pretty badass). ive never had any psi drop during cornering. on b's 1 of the morosos are known to leak, I don't know if any of the k versions do or not. I wouldn't go baffle. I do know someone who had a high end k baffle and it starved his k, sorry I don't know which 1 it was.

This is what i run on my car.
Clockwise Motion K20 Oil Pan Baffle Sump - Great for Road Racing
It requires the use of the Aluminum k20a2 oil pan though.

I had a moroso on my b and it did the job! I ve been satidfied, never had any pressure issue after.
Now I run a Canton on my k20 and can t say anything bad about it.
The prob with the oem k 20 is the aluminium casting that break like glasses if you hit it hard... Google it and you ll see! If you run a steel pan (k24), then it s up to you...

I have read that in a RWD application, (S2000), The K-series engines have a problem under heavy braking? That the oil will slosh forward and up into the timing chain area, un-porting the pickup in the pan?
It is effectively the same as a REALLY REALLY high grip left turn, if the engine was in its normal FWD orientation.
Of the baffling options available, any opinions on what the best way is to baffle a K-series engine mounted 'sideways'?

Most of the baffles pan have been engineer in a way to solve the chain area. If you still have prob, maybe add an accusump to your set up?
The other solution would be dry sump... Effective, but not cheap!
