Re: Irish Tarmac Rally Eg6's Builds
The car starting to look a bit better than when we started. The panels going back on after being painted. Also we picked up a PLM Exhaust Manifold to help free up the engine another bit along with a custom exhaust made by a friend.

With the car pretty muched finished we took it for a dyno run and map. It made 197bhp and 121ftlbs torque. Happy enough for a pretty standard set up.
Onto the stickering to make it look like a rally car.

2012 West Cork Rally - Luke McCarthy & Pakie McCarthy - Stage 11 - YouTube
This is the my car. Bent arm on the stage previous so car a bit wayward. Good fun all the same 😊

Re: Irish Tarmac Rally Eg6's Builds
New project picked up a couple of weeks ago. Its in a state. Bit worse than i thought when i picked it up.
Stripping it out at the moment and finding alot wrong but it is repairable. Car has a bolt in roll cage already fitted and a sump guard and bucket seats so it still was a bargain for €350.
This car is going to be used for Autocross events in the short term and hopefully gravel rallys in the next couple of years. I am refusing to spend any big money on it and am hoping to build it out of parts we have thrown out of the other cars.

I was curious more about the transmission gearing you're using. I noticed you hit speed limiter a couple times on the last 2 min of the straight after the "rock"..
I of course saw this.
Wonderful job, mate.

this is the gearkit i am using with the 4.75 CWP.
Very suited to cars up to 250bhp.
