Honda Challenge Del Sol almost done.. Pics!!!
It's getting there. Definetly more work to be done, but it may be able to make it through a race soon. Any comments?

Got any pics of where the rear legs of the cage attach to the chassis? I hear this causes a lot of problems when people try to fab cages for the del sol.

I can take some pics of it... I will try to get them up soon. The cage isn't to the point I want it.. I want to do more chassy stiffing and run it into the trunk, but that is all my wallet could afford for now.

No crossbar in the front section? A bar somewhere around knee height improves crush strength a bunch in a side impact. The hard part seems to be to keep them high enough to not hit your knees on it and not have it run across the center of the dash. Are you going to use the factory targa panel or something fabricated? Just curious.

What targa panel would you be refering to? For some reason I have a feeling I am going to feel like an idiot when you explain.

I have not decided what I am going to do with the roof. Any opinions on the best way to go?

Don't the roofs need to be welded on? That's what I'd do anyway.
Si model, right? Or are you going to run in H1?
More pics of the cage, too. Is the trunk still functional?

It just has to be bolted in if I run that one. I am running in H4. The trunk is fully functional for now. The cage does not run into the trunk yet, but hopefully soon I will change that.

Need to run rear supports through the trunk to the rear shock towers, but other than that looks like a good start

They are coming.. Money was the inhibitor on that one. Just got the cage in to make it legal to get in race and the added stiffening will come as I can afford it.

Mods:
AEM Intake
Powercore Header
Powercore race cat
custom piped exhaust w/Borla muffler
Tokico shocks w/ neuspeed springs. Badly need new suspension (Apexi N1 pro soon)
Spoon shift **** Best mod EVER
The car does well in local events, but I know if I raced it nationally it would get worked. There is no way it can stay close to a modded gsr or such.
