I was coming back from Las Vegas this morning around 6 am and saw him in the airport. he was just walking through. I did not get a chance to say hello. I looked up and there he was. I smiled and we walked past each other. Just thought it was cool to see him.

Paul has lived in Vegas for years. Yea, he lost 30 lbs between this past season and the one before. Heck he's bald now too...which looks better on him IMO than his quasi mid life crisis tryin to dye it blond hair.

Funny PT story: I went to the CART race in Portland in 2000 with some people I used to work with at Laguna Seca, so we left the track after the race Sunday, pull into the Hertz car return at the airport, me and Melanie are literally standing up as we exit the car on the driver's side, we hear squealing tires and a peppy engine, Mel yells "Oh sh*t he's gonna hit us!", we turn around to the car pulling into the Hertz return also...it's Jimmy Vaser (driving..like a nut), Paul Tracy, and Paul's ex-wife Liisa (yes, that's how she spells it). We were like..COOL!! we almost got run over by Jimmy and Paul!! Even more funny is that the Hertz guy was giving Jimmy crap about driving the car like that into the terminal...I think he wanted to charge him more $ or something...but we just stood there listening and Jimmy looked at the guy and said, "I am a VERY good customer of yours...you don't know who I am..." It was obvious that he didn't want to play the I'm A Race Car Driver card, but he was ready to do so if needed. So, me and Melanie said to the Hertz guy, dude that's Jimmy Vaser, he just finished racing in the CART race, he's more than capable of driving your car safely....bla bla bla" So, the Hertz guy was like "Oh you're one of the race car drivers!!" He let Jimmy go without further problems. Jimmy, Paul, and Liisa smiled and were off for their flight back home.

You guys shouldn't be worshipping Paul Tracy. He made a lot of anti-friends when he came to an event at Willow Springs. He ignored passing zone rules on the track as if they didn't apply to him and brushed off anyone who wanted to be friendly with him.

Liisa is a very beautiful woman...her name iss pelled like that for a reason. She passes by you, and you say, "Niiice..." Your clueless friends sees Paul Tracy's ex wife, and say, "Who's that?"

he may have not been very nice to people that day, but i've met him several times and did some pr work during cart at laguna seca and he's no worse a human being than any other out there. he's actually kidna shy, which may be why he comes off like a ***** sometimes. oh well, there's always gonna be people who don't like him. juan montoya was a MUCH bigger ***** when he was in cart than paul has ever been. wow, just think how much bigger JPM's ego is now that he's in F1

edit: yea, Liisa looks like Anna Nicole Smith did before she got all porky...big'uns and all she was one of the most well liked ladies around the paddock. in 99 some fans came by the Kool pit to ask her if Paul would sign their Canadian flag...she had him do that, then she went to Patrick Carpentier and Greg Moore and had them sign it as well. little did we know at the time that Greg would be gone in only a few short weeks. i bet that flag means even more to them now.
