dzus fasteners?

dzus fasteners?
I did a search and found two articles, but not really want I wanted to know.
I'd like to attach my front chin spoiler/splitter combo to my front bumper cover with some sort of quick release fastener (perhaps dzus fasteners), but I don't know how to use them to attach body work to just the bumper cover and not utilizing weld-on tabs. The articles I found here weren't clear on that.
Does anyone have any clear pics of how they've done this? Where do you buy them?

Re: dzus fasteners? (bdb)
We used Dzus buttons on the airdam on several cars over the years. There are retainer springs that you can rivet to the back side of the bumper cover where the airdam touches it. The buttons go through a hole in the urethane and lock onto the springs. I prefer the captured fasteners, that ride in a little aluminum thingie that rivets to the airdam. I don't have any pics though...

Thanks man, I had an idea that you'd be able to use them in such a manner. And yes, I'll check out some of the cars at the track too! Maybe in a couple weeks when the Speed WC stops at Mosport.

to coast fabrications, lots of good stuff their, their mufflers are very light and actually reduce sound levels.
As for applications of the Dzus tabs, easiest way is to rivet in the backing plate, and use a screw type fastener that also rivets into whatever you are attaching. The problem with the button type is they buttons are loose where the screw type remain on the piece being attached. Button type is perfect for lexan windows where they aren't removed/installed as often.
