Thanks for the mount info. Ill try and see if i have any of the mounts you mentioned. I thought one mount was a Hasport mount or copy of one, but i was told its just a honda mount. Its a alloy body 3 bolt timing side mount. As for the ECU we could just do the P06 ECU with a stock basemap, but we technically have to claim it. If we install the con rod bolts, I need to claim it as well. But lucky us, we found a P75 local for just $40. said to be in good shape. Also found a U-pick locally that has 2 5-speed integras in there yard. Going to stop by there and try and get 1 of those ECUS. Also going to get a Integra rad. Less points then a alloy half-rad and should still be able to cool the car well with some ducting.

I know the LS/VTEC guys all shotpean the rods and add the studs, but there all running higher revs and much more comp/boost.
Our b18b1 lasted 12 hours before one teammate who was really pushing the car wasn't paying attention to the gauges, he let the car overheat so bad that water was boiling out of our radiator cap. You should be fine as long as you have a good radiator and pay attention to your gauges. We plan on adding a better water temp gauge and oil pressure gauge this year as well as a new dual core full size radiator.

Well I figured it was time for a update. Still slow going. Car is at work now but just so many things going on. We replaced the drivers floor, gutted the doors, pulled the dash to clean up some wiring. Removed all unused wiring running to the rear. Stripped the engine bay last week, so dirty. Removed the ABS unit and lines, prop valve, evap system, evap mount, ABS wiring and module. All suspention, subframe and power steering. Installed all new brake and fuel lines, EG manual rack and subframe, eg control arms and swaybar, 40/40 prop valve, engalls upper control arms and a EG gas tank. Once I figure out how to attach pictures again I'll put some up

All these upside down pics are making me dizzy. LOL
It is coming along nicely. Aren't you guys going to miss a good part of this years' racing events?

Why are they upside down? They were right side up when I first posted them. Man i suck with computers lol. When I look at this post on my IPhone the pictures are correct! I made the post on my phone as well and the pictures were off my phone. Any ideas?

We are building the car for there Aug race. They are coming down to Nova Scotia for 1 race at Atlantic Motorsports Park and we figured why not build a car. Then we can try and make a race or 2 a year afterwards and aim for tracks we have never run before. Would really like to try and do 1 race every spring stateside pending on sponcership and driver funds. They are racing way before us so we dont have to skip a weekend at home for a away race as we have low enough numbers as it is here. Dont need to make them lower.

Alright. Figured it out. For whatever reason when posting pictures on my Phone, while they are right on it, even when viewed afterwards they are upside down to everyone else.

Thats good to hear. We plan to install a Integra Rad to help with cooling, We would do a Race rad, but its just to many points on our overall score. Did you guys run a Oil cooler? We want to get one, but ran for years without one before. I have a Type R one here from our swap and could use it. Would be nice to save the points and money, but would rather have a safe motor.

Put the motor in last night after work. Didn't go quite as i would have liked it. Driver side motor mount was still wrong. I knew i needed a 2 post mount but didnt relize there are 2 and 3 bolt mounts to the block as well. I am betting 2 bolt for D series and 3 bolt for B series. So i know our Del Sol has the right 2 post, 3 bolt mount, and since i can make it work with the gear i have as a 3 post mount, ill just swap them around here at some point. Why did they have to go change the EK cars so much. lol. buggers. Also didnt reliase the distributor on the motor was a 10 pin, and my harness is a 8 pin. Ill just change the internals from the D-series to the B-series distributor bodys. Did that to our last car as well. I also need to change the intake temp sensor plug and come up with a O2 sensor Setup as well. The good exhaust manifold i have is a OBD1, So the O2 sensor down behind the oil pan. So once all that is done, and i get the rusted broken stud out of the head for the exhaust manifold, i should be able to start it up. Or atleast find out what else is wrong with it. Ill get most done tonight, but still need the old distributor. That is home, so that will be a sunday job.

I think i have fully sorted the pictures out, so here are a few new ones.

Well its up and running. A lot more had to be done then I though. Rewired the IACV from a 3 wire to a 2 and repined the ECU, Rewired the vehicle side distributor harness from a 8 pin to a 10 pin, and Swapped the connector for the Air intake temp. Once that was done it was up and running. But had code 4 and wouldn't rev above 3800-4000 RPM. Found the code was CPS. For some unknown reason i spent the next 2 hours messing around with the CFS. wiring it in, tring the Bypass trick, swearing at it, then remembered we are running a OBD1 ECU. And wow still code 4. Then !!! i reliesed oh CPS. its in the distributor. woops. Unfortunately all i have are VTEC ones and either they wont start a Non-vtec motor or this distributor is bad as well. Witch will suck as we just bought it from a guy in Ontario for $60 used. I am assuming it should run the car, as we ran a NON-VTEC distributor with D-series internals on our B17A1 for a year or so, just to cut off 1 tab. Worked great as well. Unfortunately the search just finds randomness and no real info. Just people telling people to buy new and forget there budgets. lol. Only thing i forgot was that the ECU in the car has launch control added in, but its at 4300 RPM and we are only revving to 4000 or a bit less. And its a really slow rev out. I have never heared a honda launch conrtrol but i am assuming it will rev out quick. And if its a IGN cut, should backfire some. or atleast i hope it will.
