Icon2 ASR Complete Subframe Kit???

Basically is it worth the $$$ for someone who does autocross about 15-20 time out of the year? This would be going on a Civic EK.

That depends. Are you competative now with the group youre in, or are you needing more suspension work to keep up?

Whats your setup now and what class are you in?

You mean the rear subframe reinforcement bracket? Unless you're doing a homebrew rear sway bar setup, then yeah, you'll need it to fit a decent sized bar back there and not have it tear **** up.

I would do more chassis stiffening on top of the ASR subframe. I had only the ASR SF + 24mm RSB and my rear subframe started tearing off... luckally I saw it before it was too late and got to weld it.
So if you plan to get it, make sure you also have more bracing as well.

roll cage or at least a 4 point roll bar, strut bars (although they don't do much)

Yo playa, he isnt tracking the car, he is autocrossing the car. The top speed is about 50-60mph and stays in 2nd the whole course. No need for roll cages.

Unless we know what coilovers he is on? Might not be worth upgrading stiffer sway/subframe on lowering springs

Suspension is Koni yellows with ground controls and thats about it. I was using this car as a daily driver / drag car but now i got into autocross. And not this is just for fun with friends just wanted to take some turns faster.

Like everyone has already stated , the subframe and bars will put you into a different class. I have the front sway bar, rear, and rear trunk braces. I'm now only allowed in SMF class because of my motor setup.

Have you thought about asr subframe and a 22mm itr rear sway?
It will be $100 cheaper.

ASR SF
ITR rear sway
ITR D brackets
ITR endlinks w/ES bushings or ASR endlinks
Energy Suspension 22mm bushings

amazon for the bushing
oemacuraparts dot com or acuraoemparts dot com for ITR stuff
JHPusa dot com for ASR stuff

The rear brace and bar won't impact his class if he's already on coil overs... a larger rear bar will help turn in balance. The OTS solid bars aren't great but, depending on what you've got right now, will probably be a big improvement.

when my subframe started tearing I was racing at my local kart track, about 65mph on the "longest straight" everywhere else I run the whole track on 2nd gear.

roll cage isn't only for safety, it also add lots of chassis rigidity
