Default Accusump?

Im looking in to purchasing an Accusump system and am looking for any input from anyone who has put a system together before...

Looking at there site I think this is what i am going to need to get it all put togther and installed in working order. Let me know if I am missing anything or if I need anything different than what is listed. If you have never heard of Accusump before do a little reading on there page. The big advantages are pre start oiling and temperary preasure assistance during low preasure situations...

Accusump home page http://www.accusump.com/

3qt high preasure accumulator $179 on summit -

sandwich install kit for RSX $139 on summit -
http://www.cantonracingproducts.com/...ion&key=24-710

55-60 PSI EPC valve $149 on summit-
http://www.cantonracingproducts.com/...ion&key=24-275

accumulater mounting brackets $95 on summit -
http://www.cantonracingproducts.com/...ion&key=24-210

I think this is everything needed with a grand total of $565 purchasing everything from Summit. I didn't look anywhere else as these prices where less than Cantons list prices. If you know where I can get any of this stuff cheaper let me know... I will be buying everything at once and may also be purchasing a second setup for my Buddy at the same time...

You will also need a ton of steel braided line. Also, I spent a lot of time trying and testing the Accusump on my car. I found the electric valve to be pretty much useless and a big pain. I switched to the manual valve and it was much simpler. The electric valve is really for those who want to use the system on a street car or where the valve is not within driver reach.

I have an Amsoil oiler (AMK02). It was $350 since I bought the preferred customer membership which lets me buy oil and stuff cheaper than retail. It came with everything I needed except a BSPT to NPT fitting because I decided to tap into where the oil pressure sender is. It looks like the biggest difference is that the Amsoiler holds much less oil.

55-60 PSI valve sensor sounds too high .. it will be enabled almost all the time .. i use a 35-40psi. you want a valve that will discharge the accusump when your motor needs it and refill when it doesn't

had it for years and never had problems with the valve.

The EPC valve works 100% fine if it has the right pressure switch.

The standard electric valve on the other hand is useless for racing applications and it even states that on the website.

PM me if you have any questions regarding the accusump.
