You posted 2/3 twice.

Anyway, watched the start and gotta say that moment under the bridge at the end of the 2nd lap made me pucker. Good save, sorry about your underwear.

edit: finished episode 2. Girlfriend came upstairs to find out why I kept yelling: "SHIFT DAMNIT!" It looks like Turn 7 is a 3rd gear turn in the best of conditions but when around traffic it definitely a 2nd gear turn. On several laps you chose 2nd and stayed tucked behind the DC or the EG but when you didn't they just drove the F away! On to the final episode of the trilogy...

edit 2: Wow, that was super. Thank you for posting!

Fixed.
Yea, everytime I should have used 2nd, I shake my head in frustration with myself.

Looks like a fast, fun course. Kinda wish I was there. The 6spd cars were killing you B-series guys on the long straight. Good save just before the bridge and the CONCRETE WALLS! I would've **** a brick.

Sweet videos, thanks for sharing! Loved looking at the rear end of that red EG, such a pretty car compared with the other models.

What happened on the 2nd lap? Looks like severe lift-off oversteer. I wonder what suspension you are using, it looks really extreme. Or were you hit from behind?

lifted to keep from collecting the s2000 when it started to get out of shape and that outside curb SUCKS! i didn't expect it to turn the car like it did but oh well.
suspension is nothing special. jrz rs :/
yea, the k and f series cars killed me on the back straight.

I liked how everyone in the video seemed to avoid contact. Very civil. In some other championships I've seen, that S2000 would now be missing a rear bumper.

As for the suspension, your car seemed to handle that bumpy 3rd/4th gear left hander better than the other red EG, when you were following close behind. From that I take it it is of high quality. From the severe lift off oversteer on that incident with the S2000 I would guess the rear end is setup to be quite stiff, be it through sway bar, spring rate, or other. But it's probably faster like that, though harder to drive.

I may be wrong in my assessment, I am just trying to learn from your video and apply it to my own car.

my set up is.....different
it was more to do with the curb (very choppy and slippy) than the car set up. the car isn't that loose. at least i don't think so.

Very nice job. You were using all of the sidewalk coming out of the esses..... Better than those you were following. Any idea what your top speed was at the end of the big straight?

To those that have not been to RA:

the Georgia red clay can be like lithium grease. The curb before the bridge can be trouble because of this.

The down hill plunge into the front straight is ALL IN. The concrete wall has deep rim gouge circles from the unfortunate. You can literally measure a cars wheel base from these cookie cutter gouges in the wall.

Yup... if things go pear shaped there, it gets ugly. I remember my first time at Road Atlanta watching a friend of mine crash her ITC EF Civic:

She got tapped in the RR by P2 in class after having to check up for the super-slow Miata.

I think the top speed was in the low 120s on the back.
