Any1 have a Acura MDX??
Im looking into one of these since my family is growing bigger, I have narrowed it down to the MDX and Murano. I have done some research but I wanted some insight from actual MDX owners. Some of my concerns I am coming on the MDX is about the transmission, How reliable is the transmission on yours? Inside noise? rattling inside of the cabin?
I know I can find these answers on search and reviews, but I want current updates.

well the mdx is based on the pilot and we have a pilot and i ahve to say that ti is awesome
its queit and the pwor is there if u want it. sound system is nice (for non-audiophiles)
the only rattle i hear is from the back when we first got it. the sub would rattle its plastic grill cover thing.
and at highway speeds if the windows are slightly down there is this VERY annoying pulsating of air
i say go for a test drive

Yeah, MDX and Pilot are very similar, we've got the Pilot and it's quite a good car, no problems at all since we've had it (brand new off the lot '03? - whenever they first came out) No audible noises at all tranny wise, or loose bolt type noises. And as said above the windows on the thing are really interesting, they make a loud almost helicoptor *whirring* noise when at highway speeds. But the ride is incredibly smooth, transmission shifts smoothly, it's a really well made vehicle.

I have a 2001 MDX. I have had it for about 2 years. I love it. It has 110,000 miles on it now...Still rides great. Very comfortable, roomy. Its currently lowered 2 inches with 22's. Still rides like it did when it was stock. I haven't had any problems with it...Knock on wood. The tranny has not given me any problems either....

They don't make springs for the MDX, so until they do, I used Spring Compressors. They are 11.00 each so $44.00 to lower the truck...not the best way but it beats the obnoxious fender gap I had before

Re: (ptk681)
So you only use one clamp per spring? I thought you had to use two on each spring? But to my ignorance I have never used them.
You Acura looks tough lowered.
I want to lower mine too.
