Have 1994 Acura Integra - brakes keep failing for no reason!
My mother has a 1994 Acura Integra. She has had constant brake problems. The ABS light stays on all the time. She takes to the mechanic who says there is nothing wrong. But when she comes to a sudden stop the brake pedal will sometimes go all the way to the floor for no reason. She pumps the pedal and it will return to normal position. She's had new brake pads ,etc... They squeak all the time.
She is at the end of her rope. Any ideas?? https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emsad.gif |

if she is loosing pressure i.e. the pedal goes to the floor...then it's probably the master cylinder has gone bad...

Sounds like you need to find a new mechanic. Check the brake booster and associated hose for leaks and then take the master cylinder and have it checked out. |

my 94 gsr has the same exact problems.......my abs light stays on, abs doesnt work, checked the code and my car says its my passenger front wheels speed sensor............then once in a while (not all the time), my brake pedal will go to the floor............i havent replaced the master cylinder in years, so thats probably my problem

Just like they said, get a new mechanic and a new master cylinder.
