HOW TO CHECK TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL?? 1998 CRV
 

I know this sounds like a moronic question...but where is the disptick located for a 1998 CRV 2.0ltr?

I'm recently married, and thus inherited my wife's car and maintenance schedule...I changed the oil yesterday for the first time, but could not locate a dispstick to check the trans fluid!! Arghhhh!!!!

Can someone please tell me where it is located?

It's below the air intake tube if it's an auto.

yea its hidden ... should hv a yellow cap .. so freakin annoying to check it cuz it keeps hittin stuff round it when u pull it out ... (for the auto)

Passenger side of engine under some hoses. It is a pain to get at.

just check the dip stick... the owners manual should tell u where the fluid should be uptil
