Metric Left Hand Thread Nuts (reverse thread)
 

i just got some aftermarket heim endlinks in today. they are missing the nut between the joints that will allow you to lock it down so they dont swivel

they are m10 X 1.50, one side is reverse threaded and i cant find a bolt to fit it anywhere.

anyone know where i can get 1?

Do you have a Lowes home improvement store where you are? It's similar to a Home Depot, but a little newer.

The Lowes near me have a very large selection of metric bolts/nuts. Much more than Home Depot which has like 10 total. I remember going to Lowes for many replacement Honda bolts that I lost during my work.

if not a hardware store, find a metal shop to make one or rethread the one you have

i know might not be much help but machine shops are the shit the do all kinds of miracle work

cuz the endlinks won't spin anyway

ya i tryed lowes, they had lefthand standard size but no metric

and yes its for a swaybar endlink

look at the pics notice the 1 bolt diffrence. do i really need 1? if i cant find it i was gona have a shop weld it in place

i don't see a reason why it would back out without the lock nut. the onlything i could think off is that it would be a stiffer conection with the lock nut. why don't you replace the whole thing. you could buy those at any hardware store. or if not try contacting a machine shop,hot rod shop, or a hardware store they might be able to help you locate the nut

i just figured that with out the lock nuts the 2 peices would turn with the swaybar and it moved and that cant be good at keeping in stiff

ya on your site i searched for "m10 left" and it came up. i wint to 1 of your local stores and they said they gota order it form texas and it wont be here till wensday or friday of next week https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emsad.gif

Jam nuts are not required for our endlinks. They are intended to be a little loose (just a hair) and they do not rotate since the linkage bolts hold them in place.

Please ensure that both sides are set "neutral" and that you have at least 5-7mm of thread threaded into the linkages.

you sure? i mean your endlinks looks almost exactly like comptech's and they use jam nuts.

i guess ill put them on without and see how i like it

That's right. As long as you have them set correctly and ensure that the ends apply no preload on the swaybar when the car is on a flat surface the setup will be good.

Once you have them installed, you'll notice that the top half and the bottom half will be "loose" but they will not unscrew more than 1/4 turn from each other and the two halves will never disconnect because the two mounting bolts hold them in place.
