won't start - lights flashing!
 

Hi, hope someone can help fast!
94 Accord - just bought 2 mos ago. Tonight my kid pulled up the door lock (don't know if this is relevant) and the parking lights and dash lights started flashing and the car won't start! Driving for 30 yrs all kinds of cars and this is a first for me. Is it something to do with anti theft or what?Any help is MUCH appreciated!

sounds like an alarm system issue to me, mine does that if you try to manually unlock the doors with the alarm armed. but i have an aftermarket DEi alarm that i installed. i would disconnect your battery and or try unlocking the drivers door with your key.

Thanks for replying, How do you 'disarm' the alarm?

just disconnect the battery and it should cut off if it doesn't have a backup battery which i highly doubt it does if the didn't even hook up a siren. call your local audio shop, they will be able to help you out further

on my old civic, id turn the key to accentric postion and flip the cut off switch...if ya got 1
