Auto tranny SPEED SENSOR work in a manual?

As the topic says. Will a speed sensor from an automatic transmission work in a manual transmission?

The electrical portion is the same, but the gear is different. Swap the electrical portion and you will be fine.

A buddy of mine put the sensor from a 94 d-series auto in his 94 gsr manual and it worked just fine. No gear swap.

how about u try...if the one in your manual tranny is broken you now have 2 sets of gears...one auto and one manual..

swap all the different parts on the auto from the manual..whala..u now have a manual looking VSS....then come back to honda tech and tell us all if it works...
