Crower B Series Stroker Kit?
I have a B18a1 block sitting at home I would like to get people's comments on the Crower Stroker kit for any of those who have used it. Is it really worth $2,300. I plan on going with option 4, so that would include making my block a 1.9 gonna use a B16 head hoping for 400-500whp using a smaller Precision turbo and not too much boost say maybe 15psi because of the increased displacement and slightly higher compression. I think it can be done successfully. The smaller turbo should yield a faster spool and be very responsive due to the CR. But is it worth the money. Oh yeah I'm gonna use Benson sleeves I like the fact of not making an open deck motor closed. I wanna try and stay as stock as possible with the setup. So your honest opinions please on the stroker kit and my theory. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emthdown.gif ?

Re: Crower B Series Stroker Kit? (Project_SOHC_EX)
ill keep the stock stroke for only 400-500whp
just run 10:1 comp with a turbo with a .63 stage 3 turbine get you a set of cams , intake manifold good ex manifold it should be easy to get 450whp and still have boost by 4500rpms |
