Can someone tell me the proper percentage of antifreeze/water combination I will need when I replace my radiator tommorrow. And what is the total capacity of the system. Thanks!!

capacity should be around 2 gals, 1 gal of coolant, another of distilled water. i hope ur upgrading to a dual row radiator while ur at it (most oem replacements are dual row)

Thanks for the info....I'm not sure, I got it from a friend who works at a gas station. Its where he gets his parts from and got it for there cost. My original radiator lasted 196,000 miles. I hope this one will, LOL !! https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif

if it was only the rad was repalced then about 5L of the coolant/water mix will be more then enough. (total capacity is about 6.5L or so.)

best combination for (cars which don't see winter/freezing conditions) is about 60% water to about 40% of coolant mix.

4L = 1 Gallon (or so)
