Stripped Engine Mount Bolt.....HELP
i over torqued the 17mm bolt that holds in the driver sider motor mount and it stripped the threads on the mut thats welded into the frame of the car (1992 Civic Hatch).......the bolt is now being held in place by only about 25% of the threads that are left on the nut........the rest of the nut is smooth i need to know if this is safe enought to hold the motor in, and if it isnt what can i do

Re: Stripped Engine Mount Bolt.....HELP (BALL BAG)
If anything thread another nut on the remaining part of the bolt, throw some threadlock on and some vice grips to hold it while you torque the bolt, should hold.
