broadway rear view mirrors: convex vs flat

just wondering what the differences between these two are. . . and the difference in visibility with the different widths (270mm 300mm etc) i did a search and couldn't find anything :\

I have both (dont ask) the convex ones make eveything really small but you can see a lot more horizontally. I never liked the convex one, the flat ones are the best.

I have a 300mm flat, I can see whats next to me without looking over my shoulder. It's great. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif Convex distorts too much IMO.
