bolts right on but if ur looking for vtec that is the econo vtec head. u will need to run the y5 ecu and fix any CELs that may occure. u will have to wire vtec. if its nothing u can handle find someone who has done these swaps before

You'll need a Y5 ECU and wire up VTEC, EGR, 5 wire 02, etc. Not worth it in my opinion but if you're looking for a challenge then go for it. It would be better to look for a Y8 head, ECU and wire up the proper sensors but even that isn't going to net you much especially with the transmission you have.

NOT worth it the money/time spent to get it going will surpass the price of a y8 head, OR you could just re-use the y7 header and intake manifold but they both suck.

Answer this question please. Unless you're planning to boost than this head is no good to you.

No point in VTEC-e unless you want better gas mileage. Even the Y8 head swap won't feel like much power either especially with the Y7 transmission.
