Stiff brake pedal
I have a 1995 honda civic ex with abs and I recently replaced the brake booster because the pedal was very hard to push but after replacing it and bleeding the brakes the pedal is still hard. Could the master cylinder possibly be bad?

Re: Stiff brake pedal
replace your booster check valve(if it is there) if its not there then there is your problem.

Re: Stiff brake pedal
Make sure the check valve is not on backwards. Basically, you have taken the power out of the power brakes. Vacuum air from the intake manifold provides the power.

You guys have a picture of this check valve?

Something similar to this:
